Marine biologists discover two new species of Porcelain Crab
Marine biologists have discovered two new species of Porcelain Crab, also are known as ‘False Crabs’. Porcelain Crabs in fact belong to Porcellanidae, a highly diverse family of crustaceans, and evolved a crab-like form independent of true crabs. The two new species - Polyonyx socialisand Petrolisthes virgilius - are symbiotic, meaning they live as symbiots of other organisms.
